This exciting collection started as a dream many years ago. If we were showcasing South Africa to visitors to our shores, why not start to build our own handpicked hideaways portfolio, that we could offer to clients so they could enjoy an immersive lifestyle experience in a private exclusive-use home.

It made sense to partner with selected boutique establishments to have a fuller network. But it was also crucial for us, to take on full management and day to day operations with some of the properties. In this way, we would use these beautiful homes for our travellers to “live local”, whilst promoting and growing the brands of these various properties for their respective owners.

For our exclusive-use properties, we arrange pre arrival shopping, so your holiday home is filled with tasty nibbles, the best coffees, worthy South African wines and importantly all prepared and ready for you to just step in and start your holiday from the moment you walk through the front door. From luxurious 5* homes with butlers, to down to earth comfort homes with daily housekeeping - we have a few gems that we are proud to showcase.

Our focus is on the Greater Kruger area, the Cape Winelands and Cape Town.

We have taken this further with our latest addition, Olive & Vine in the winelands. This is all about living “like-a- local.” Whether it is an Art & Wine Ramble through the vineyards, or a sunset picnic in the olive groves, or attending one of our ‘Long Table’ dinners we invite Qui Vado travellers to join in as our guests.

Great fun, shared stories and lots of laughter, all enjoyed with good food, good wine and new friends.
