Cape Town Highlights ~ 3 Nights / 4 Days ENQUIRE NOW

OVERVIEW

Often referred to as Europe’s most southern city, this is Cape Town. Cosmopolitan, bustling & beautiful. Great city bistros’, beaches that dreams are made of and the amazing V&A Waterfront. But oh, there is more, the meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, Lions Head, Signal Hill and the city bowl, all being watched over by Table Mountain. The history, the food, the sites and best of all the people – this is Cape Town!

This is an ideal tour to add an extra day or two in Cape Town, or combine it with the Winelands or a Safari and go for a City & Bush escapade…

If you would like to upgrade this to a five star deluxe hotel, just let us know and we shall quote accordingly.

Day 1 – 3: Luxury Boutique Hotel

Arrive Cape Town International and be whisked away by your chauffeur who will be waiting for you as you enter the Arrivals Hall. You will be staying in a gorgeous new luxurious 4* boutique hotel located on the platinum mile two minutes from the V&A Waterfront.

On the day of arrival, there is a leisurely start, perhaps go for a stroll along the promenade and stretch your legs, stop off at a local pavement café for a coffee. Or head up to the pool roof top deck for a dip in the pool. Dinner tonight is at a chic beach bistro, just a stroll away from your hotel. Time it right and you can enjoy dinner whilst the sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean.

The following day after breakfast, your Cape Town adventure starts with a jam-packed day to try and see as much of this city as possible.

This is a private tour just for you, so you can go at your own speed with the driver / guide taking his lead from you. If you want to stay longer at one venue and skip another, it is entirely your choice.

We start off with Table Mountain, (usually best done early when the wind is low and the morning light is perfect). Then a drive through the famous suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay over Chapman’s Peak to Cape Point. For lunch we stop off at the Noordhoek Farm Village. A quaint neighbourhood squished up between the mountains and the sea. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, browse the craft stores and then continue to Cape Point. This is the famous meeting point of the two oceans and an amazing photo opportunity. If you are energetic, you can take a walk up to the peak, alternatively, if you prefer to take it easy, you can hop on the Funicular.

The afternoon carries on with a stop at Boulders Beach to see the African Penguin Colony – cute little guys and so many of them waddling around. So much so, they have become a bit of a nuisance in the neighbourhood, as they are quite happy to ‘nest’ in the front lawns and gardens of the ‘human’ residents. This is also a good time to dip you toes into the icy sea water, the beach is picturesque, with white sand, large boulders and a turquoise sea. After our beach stop, we are off for the next adventure of the day. Here you can choose between going for afternoon tea and scones at Kirstenbosch Gardens, or pop into Groot Constantia, one of the oldest wine farms in the Cape.

After a full day, we recommend a calmer quite evening, with dining at the hotel, or a casual café in the area.

Day two is your day ~ time to explore the V&A Waterfront.

Take time out on your own to visit local craft stores and high-end boutiques. Enjoy a luncheon on the harbours edge, watch the tugs come and go and the daily rush of a working harbour. Chances are high, you will catch a glimpse of a seal or two, they are always in the bay, whether diving for fish, swimming along the boats, or taking a snooze in a quiet spot. View the sights from the Cape Town Eye and if weather permits, take a cruise along the coastline or around Robben Island.

For this evening, we have planned a dinner in one of the top city bistro’s. Your driver will pick you up in time to view the sun setting from Signal Hill. Then it is off for dinner.

Day three brings to an end of your brief sojourn in Cape Town.

After breakfast, your Cape Town adventure comes to an end and it is time to head off for your Winelands experience or on Safari. Whatever your choice, your driver will be there, ready and waiting for you.
